Terms of Service

Last updated 25 June 2026

1. Acceptance

Packetfall (the “Service”) is an educational game operated by an independent sole proprietor (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Packetfall

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use Packetfall. During the beta the Service is offered to players in the United States only; access from other regions is restricted.

3. The Service

Packetfall is an exam-preparation game for the Cisco CCNA. It is provided during a beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features, content, pricing, and availability may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We may reset beta data where reasonably necessary.

4. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information, and do not share your account or impersonate others. Tell us promptly at support@packetfall.io if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Community conduct

When using chat, emotes, display names, or any other feature, you agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse others; post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or unlawful content; spam or flood; cheat, exploit, or attempt to disrupt the Service; or impersonate staff. Chat is filtered and rate-limited, and you can block or report other players. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content

You are responsible for the messages and display name you submit. You grant us a limited license to transmit and display that content as needed to operate the Service. We may remove or moderate content, but we are not obligated to monitor it.

7. Citizenship & payments

Some features require a paid “Citizenship” subscription. Packetfall is in Early Access: by subscribing you acknowledge that the Service is an evolving beta, that content and features will continue to change, and that Citizenship grants access to the current CCNA 200-301 campaign and its updates — not to separate future certification tracks (such as CCNP), which may be offered as separate purchases. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and will keep access through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

8. Educational disclaimer

Packetfall is a study aid. It does not guarantee that you will pass any exam or earn any certification. “CCNA,” “Cisco,” and related marks belong to Cisco Systems, Inc. Packetfall is an independent, unofficial product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, art, audio, and original content, is owned by its operator and protected by law. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from it except as expressly permitted. Cosmetic rewards are earned in-game and are licensed, not sold, to you.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and its operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding what you paid us in the prior twelve months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may request account deletion at support@packetfall.io.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, in-product notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Maine, where its operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maine.
